YDS Sınavı İlk ve Son Değerlendirme

SON DEĞERLENDİRME

2018 Sonbahar Eylül YDS sınavının, tarz ve zorluk derecesi açısından, önceki sınavlara benzeyeceğini bekliyorduk. Sınavın ilk 26 sorusunda sıkça kullanılan kelime (accept, exist, extensively, objectives, rely on, bring about) , bağlaç (although, thanks to, even though, but) ve kalıpların (not only…but also) gelebileceğini tahmin etmiştik. Bazı çeldirici şıkların (compelling evidence, thrive on, deep within) zorlayıcı olabileceğini de ifade etmiştik. Okuma parçalarının konuları (Piri Reis map, Fasting, Obama, Video games) ve Cümle Tamamlama sorularının yanı sıra, Cloze Test sorularının içeriğinin de sınavın zorluk derecesini etkileyeceğini söylemiştik. Nisan 2018 YDS’ye kıyasla daha kolay bir sınav olmakla birlikte, Eylül 2018 YDS genel olarak orta zorlukta, cevapları net, temiz ve iyi niyetli bir sınav olarak değerlendirilebilir.

9. Many individuals do not think about the damage they are causing on biodiversity. However, it is important as humans to realize the impact we have on biodiversity because without it, there would be no human existence. If no changes are made in the ways humans use resources on earth, there will continue to be a degradation of biodiversity until human lives can no longer be sustained. Humans affect biodiversity by their population numbers, use of land, and their lifestyles, causing damage to habitats for species. It is important for humans to realize how their actions affect biodiversity and the importance of maintaining what biodiversity is left on the earth. Through proper education, and by demanding that governments make decisions to preserve biodiversity, the human population will be able to sustain life on earth longer.

ÖN DEĞERLENDİRME

2018 Sonbahar Eylül YDS sınavının, tarz ve zorluk derecesi açısından, önceki sınavlara benzemesi beklenmektedir. Sınavın ilk 26 sorusunda sıkça kullanılan kelime, bağlaç ve kalıplar bazı çeldirici şıklarla zorlayıcı olabilir. Okuma parçalarının konuları ve Cümle Tamamlama sorularının yanı sıra Cloze Test sorularının içeriği sınava giren adaylar için en dikkat edilmesi gereken bölümlerdir. Dolayısıyla, kelime dağarcığı iyi olmayan, okuduğunu anlama becerisi yetersiz olan ve süreyi iyi kullanamayan adaylar daha sınavın başında pes edebilirler. YDS’nin DİL TAZMİNATI ve diğer özel amaçlar için kullanıldığı göz önüne alındığında sınavın çok basit olması beklenmemelidir. YDS’nin stratejik ve psikolojik bir yabancı dil sınavı olduğu da unutulmamalıdır.
